Veshicia was born on Iridonia, but left the planet soon after coming of age. Ever since she was small, she had tried to keep out of trouble, but it always seemed to find her. She would tell her mother and father constantly that she was going to be a great person, and she was dead set on seeing the galaxy. Once she came of age, she sat through her rite of passage without flinching and afterwards, promptly left Iridonia to find her place, and to prove to her parents that she could achieve her dreams.
She jumped around from system to system, learning how to repair starfighters and other vehicles as she travelled, and also managed to become rather proficient with a blaster and fixing small ships before she finally decided to join the defense forces. She was never shy around crewmates and fellow travellers, and would straight out ask if they could teach her skills while offering a warm smile and a few drinks at the local cantina. She associated with other friendly faces, but would rarely associate with anyone whom she had heard had a bad attitude. However, on one planet she had happened to land on, her values got her in hot water. She had defended an individual who she most certainly should not have without knowing his true intentions, and practically started a riot in the streets of the crowded trading city. Needless to say, she found herself on the run, and in trouble with the defense forces who then sent her to Kal’Shebbol, to put her talent for getting into trouble and her skill at repairing far beyond the eyes and worries of many. Once there, she was assigned to the FarStar.
Despite her obvious cranial features and her facial tattoos that usually make others shy away from her, she is an extremely friendly and outgoing individual, quick to lend a hand to almost anyone who needs her help. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and will come to their defense quickly, consequences be damned, which has gotten her into a bit of hot water in quite a few cantinas. She has the uncanny ability to make many friends, however because of her traveling, does not manage to keep them for long. For being so social, she is actually very alone, but tries her hardest to change things and keep a positive attitude about her situation. She still has to prove her dream to her parents, and that’s what keeps her going.
She joined the FarStar as a maintenance worker, although she is mainly a handyman. A jack of all trades, yet a master of none. She is quite a talker and can sometimes be found listening to some of the other workers as sort of a stand-in counselor. She is jovial and fun loving, but is dead serious about her work, especially if lives are (or will be) on the line. Even though she works long shifts, she always has time to visit the rec room.
